Artist Statement
I’m a French Canadian with métis roots originally from Québec.
Vancouver based painter exploring the edges of perception and layered meaning. Painting is a process of discovery for me, a way to tap into something beyond the surface and give form to what cannot always be said in words.
Each piece becomes a visual story shaped by the viewer’s own interpretation and experience. I choose images that strongly resonate with me in the moment, weaving them together in ways I do not always fully understand until the piece is complete. Painting becomes a process of discovery, where meaning often reveals itself over time through brushstrokes, symbolism, texture, and title. My intention is to create work that connects inwardly and invites viewers into their own personal interpretation and emotional journey through the piece.
Ninon’s Aerial Painting
Aerial painting is one of the most distinctive parts of my practice, combining painting with more than 20 years of experience in circus movement, and live performance into a single evolving experience. It transforms painting into something physical, immersive, and unpredictable.
Suspended in a harness while painting in motion, I create large-scale works as audiences witness the piece unfold in real time. Movement, balance, vulnerability, and improvisation all become part of the final artwork, blurring the line between visual art and performance.
Aerial Painting Performances
Circus aerial painting is one of the unique artistic experiences I offer. Drawing from decades of experience in aerial arts, I blend live performance, movement, and visual storytelling to create immersive works that inspire transformation and reflect the evolving journey of personal growth and awakening. Through intentional creation, performance, and art, each experience becomes a reflection of emotion, freedom, and human connection.
